SoundZapp respects the rights of creators. If you believe a sound on this site infringes your copyright, send us a notice and we will review it promptly.

How to send a notice

Please include:

1. Your name and contact details.
2. A description of the work you believe is being used without permission.
3. The web address (URL) of the sound page on SoundZapp.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

When we receive a complete notice we will remove or disable access to the sound while we review it.

Counter-notice

If you believe a sound was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the location of the removed sound, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your signature.

Repeat infringers

We may block people who repeatedly submit infringing material.
